General Questions

  • Peony Design Studio offers fresh- cut floral and plant arrangements for weddings, social events, funerals, and more. Our studio shop is filled with hand-selected gifting options. Visit us at 1583 Main Street, Pleasant Valley, New York, from 9 AM–6 PM (Tuesday–Friday) and 9 AM–5 PM (Saturday). We’re closed on Sundays and Mondays.

  • Absolutely! We love crafting unique arrangements tailored to your needs and budget. You can order by phone, in-store, or contact us online. Just let us know the details, and we’ll take care of the rest.

  • We offer same-day delivery for most floral arrangements. Since each creation is unique, delivery times can vary. For most orders, expect delivery on the same day. For events, we'll work together to create a timeline.

  • Yes, we deliver to Pleasant Valley (12569), Poughkeepsie (12601, 12602, 12603), Hyde Park (12538), Salt Point (12578), Millbrook (12545), Lagrangeville (12540), and more. We also deliver to venues, hospitals, retirement homes, and beyond. Delivery fees may apply based on location, and we offer delivery throughout the Northeast for special events.

  • Delivery fees are $10 within Pleasant Valley and $15 for Poughkeepsie, Hyde Park, Salt Point, Lagrangeville, and Millbrook. For other areas, fees are determined on a case-by-case basis.

  • Nope! We don’t charge extra for rush orders.

  • If no one is available to accept the delivery, we’ll leave a tag at the location with our contact information. The recipient can then arrange a convenient time for delivery.

  • We offer both rental vessels for events and containers for purchase. We have a variety of styles and can suggest the best options for your needs.

  • With enough notice, we can custom order most flowers. If you need something sooner, we’ll suggest alternatives that match your vision. For pre-designed selections, we’ll choose the closest options available. For custom orders, we’ll contact you to discuss alternatives.

  • To get started, fill out our order form, give us a call, or send us an email.

  • We accept cash, Apple Pay, and all major credit/debit cards.

  • Yes, we do. For weddings and events, our cancellation policy is outlined in your contract. For special and custom orders, we appreciate 24 hours' notice.

  • Yes! You can bundle gifts with your floral order. Gift wrapping is also available.

    • Cut Flowers: Trim stems and place them in a clean vase with fresh, cool water and flower food. Recut stems and refresh water every 2-3 days.

    • Floral Arrangements: Keep arrangements in a cool spot, away from heat sources. Add fresh water daily.

Pre-Designed Offerings

  • Yes! Check out our Special Deliveries page for a variety of pre-designed floral and plant selections, plus gift items.

  • Definitely! We create custom gift baskets that include candles, bath products, gourmet treats, live plants, and more. Perfect for any occasion.

  • We recommend ordering at least 48 hours in advance. Need it sooner? Give us a call at 845-723-4600, and we’ll see what we can do.

  • Have your budget, delivery address, and desired delivery date ready when you place your order.

Weddings

  • Yes, we offer complimentary consultations to discuss your vision and create a custom proposal.

  • We recommend booking 6-12 months in advance to secure your date and ensure availability.

  • Depending on your package, we offer various options to ensure you’re confident in your floral choices.

  • Absolutely! We specialize in creating arrangements that perfectly match your aesthetic.

  • Yes! We provide everything from bridal bouquets to boutonnieres, centerpieces, arches, cake florals, and more.

  • A deposit is required to secure your wedding date.

Social Events & Holidays

  • We cater to all social events, including garden parties, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, and more.

  • Yes! We’ll work closely with you to design custom arrangements that perfectly complement your event.

  • Yes, we offer on-site setup and end-of-event rental pick-up services to ensure your event runs smoothly.

Sympathy

  • We offer a range of sympathy arrangements, from “thinking of you” bouquets to casket sprays, standing sprays, wreaths, and plants.

  • We understand the urgency and can often deliver funeral flowers the same day or within 24 hours, depending on availability.

  • Yes, we can create arrangements that honor the personality and preferences of your loved one.
